Vijay Galani the producer of the 2010 film Veer, was banned by the FWICE (Federation Of Western India Cine Employees), from filmmaking, following a complaint filed by Salman Khan, a few days back. The producer has now taken his enmity with the actor to the court
“The Non-Cooperation Directive issued against me is illegal. If it had to be issued, it had to be in conjunction with AMTPP (Association of Motion Pictures Producers’ Association). But AMTPP has not endorsed it. I can make a film whenever I want to. This is sheer torture. I want to resolve this. I have done no wrong,” Galani said.
Why did Salman Khan file a complaint against the producer?
Well, Salman was not paid a sum of Rs 15 crore by the filmmaker for his role in Veer.

Galani further tells, “Unnecessarily, people have accused me of not paying Salman his dues. I am clean. I know what I am saying. I have kept quiet for too long. Not anymore though,” and added, “Why doesn’t Salman talk to me if he has a problem? You know what, I have met him at least seven to eight times in the past and he has never mentioned anything about an outstanding payment for Veer. Yes, I know he has lodged a complaint against me in FWICE. So what? He doesn’t have the papers to prove that I have to give him any money.”
And now, Galani has filed a case against the film governing body. “I do not owe any money to Salman. I spoke to this paper exclusively in January this year and I maintain my stand. Let the Court decide now. I cannot tolerate this nonsense any longer,” told the filmmaker.
However, FWICE President, Dharmesh Tiwari maintains that they have done no wrong in issuing the Non-Cooperation Directive against Galani. “We are fighting for FWICE and Salman Khan. My lawyer will deal with this now in Court. I don’t want to say anything further on this for now,” told Tiwari.

If we’ve heard right, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are said to be moving closer to each other. Buzz has it that Salman Khan has bought a triplex flat at Bandra Bandstand, worth Rs. 32 crore. And, the interesting part is that Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat is very close to Salman’s residence, you can say, a shout away.
Well, Salman’s triplex is still under construction and so neither the actor nor any of his family members are likely to move in anytime soon.

At last, Bollywood breaks its silence. Well, actor Salman Khan came all out to support Saif Ali Khan, blaming the media for being so insensitive towards Saif.
When the actor was asked to comment on the Saif incident, Salman told, “Even the press yesterday was all for the other guy. They didn’t even bother to ask what happened to Saif. Did Saif got wacked first or not? We should have waited for Saif to come out and say what he had to say.”

Now this one's an 'ooh la la' pairing! Bollywood's serial kisser Emraan Hashmi and "The Dirty Picture" star Vidya Balan have been cast opposite each other for comic-thriller "Ghanchakkar". The two hope to rock it.
A UTV Motion Pictures' project, the quirky movie is expected to go on floors in August and will be directed by Rajkumar Gupta, who worked with Vidya in "No One Killed Jessica".
Gupta, who claims "Ghanchakkar" is one of his "best projects till date", says a lot of thought went behind casting the two actors in the film.
"As a director, you always visualize certain actors for the roles and if you are not required to compromise on the casting; you have won half the battle," told Gupta.
"This is the first time I am going to be working with Emraan, who, I think, will do complete justice to the role... and this is the first time the audiences will see him essay a role of an eccentric man. Having worked with Vidya before, she was definitely my first choice for the role. It'll be a delight to get her to work in an entirely new genre in a totally different avatar and in a quirky, mad, out-of-the-box role. The two leads and the crackling chemistry between them will take the viewers on a laughter ride," he further added.
"Ghanchakkar" tells the story of Sanju (Emraan), an ex-conman who is laid back and has a taste for finer things in life. The problem is his ambitious wife (played by Vidya).
Vidya and Emraan are thrilled about being paired again after "The Dirty Picture".
"As an actor, all you want to do is reach out to the audiences with diverse yet entertaining roles. Having said that, the story, the director, the co-actors, producer, play an extremely critical role while selecting a film. With 'Ghanchakkar', it all just fell in place," told Vidya.
"When you have worked with an actor before, there is a certain amount of comfort that is brought to the table. Emraan is a brilliant co-star and together we hope to rock it," she further added.
Emraan told, "I jumped on board when Rajkumar offered it to me. It's a brilliant story factoring all the essential components - comedy, thrilling, edgy and entertaining, which is sure to connect with the audiences. It is undoubtedly going to be a challenging role for me, something that I haven't attempted before.
"And now to add to the excitement, me and Vidya will be seen on screen together again and am sure, under Rajkumar's apt direction, we will recreate the magic on screen."

The first Dharma Productions project that came Shahid Kapoor's way was the 2005 film "Kaal", but he couldn't do that. Seven years later he got another offer to work with the filmmaker, and once again he had to let go the opportunity due to date problems. Now he hopes it doesn't take them another seven years to come together.
"In fact, this is the first thing I said Karan. Long back we were supposed to work together and it was seven years before we got another opportunity... I hope it doesn't take us another seven years to work again," the 30-year-old actor told here at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Male Awards.
Shahid was expected to feature in director Punit Malhotra's next movie to be produced by Karan, but the dates clashed with Maneesh Sharma's film.
"I was really keen to do Punit's film and I was really looking forward to work with Karan. Unfortunately, the dates are clashing and it won't be possible. But I really hope that I get an opportunity to work with Dharma because I have great respect and regard for Karan, who is also a friend," he told.
Talking about Sharma's untitled project, Shahid told, "The film was about to start but then Maneesh broke his back because of that the film got delayed for four months. Now the shooting will start in September. I cannot say anything more than this except that I am very excited about the film."
His father, Pankaj Kapur's directorial debut "Mausam" was his lone release in 2011. As far as his new movies are concerned, he has recently wrapped up Kunal Kohli's tentatively titled "Teri Meri Kahaani", in which he has teamed up with Priyanka Chopra.

Meera, who recently announced her retirement from the Pakistan
The Lollywood actress, who even appeared on TV shows in the quest of finding a husband, has finally decided to give in to her parents' wishes.
Meera's parents on Sunday accepted the proposal of a Pakistani-American airline captain, Naveed Shehzad, who is also the actor's family friend.
"They are family friends from America
Even Meera confirmed the news.
"Shehzad is a family friend and I will be getting engaged to him on my family's insistence," she told.
However, Shehzad told the media that he has liked Meera ever since he "set his eyes" on her in 2009 at his sister's wedding in New York
Shehzad also dismissed rumours that he had divorced his alleged first wife to marry Meera.
"Rumours of me having kids or being married are simply untrue," he told.
Meanwhile, he clarified that the ceremony at Meera's house on Sunday was not the engagement but was just a 'baat pakki' and also added that the media would be informed about the 'grand engagement ceremony' which will take place soon and added that.
"God willing, the marriage will be held by the end of this year," he added.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was accused by a South African businessman Iqbal Sharma, for hitting and abusing him and his father-in-law, at a five star hotel, in Mumbai.
“It was an uncivilized way to behave in a public space,” Sharma told.
It all started when Mr Sharma demanded the restaurant manager to ask the actor and his celebrity friends, including Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Malaika Arora Khan, to lower their voices. The actor lost his cool and called Sharma an “idiot”.
In order to avoid a fight, Sharma and his family decided to move to another part of the restaurant.
“As we were going down the stairs, Saif was coming up, probably from the toilet. As he passed me, he called me an idiot and asked ‘do you know who I am?’”
Saif is now booked under a case of assault, by the Mumbai police.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza, who tied the knot early this month, are busy promoting their latest film "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" and they are not complaining as it allows them to spend a lot of time together.
"We had no time for ourselves as yet. But so far so good. We are really enjoying ourselves. We are promoting the same film; we are touring and getting a lot of time with each other. It's fun. I am enjoying this process," the 33-year-old actor told while promoting "Tere Naal..." on the sets of "Dance India Dance".
Directed by Mandeep Kumar and produced by TIPS Industries Limited, "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" hits theatres Friday.
Riteish is happy to have teamed up with Genelia after a gap of eight years. Their last movie together was the 2004 release "Masti".
"After eight years, we have got a chance to promote a film together. I thank TIPS for this opportunity and for casting us together. Pretty excited about it," he told.
The couple, who got married Feb 3, debuted together with "Tujhe Meri Kasam" in 2003.
After that Riteish featured in some rib-tickling comedies like "Kya Kool Hai Hum", "Apna Sapna Money Money", "Malamaal Weekly", "Dhamaal", "Heyy Babyy" and "Housefull", while Genelia did films like "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na", "Life Partner" and "Force".

Freida Pinto has disclosed boyfriend Dev Patel's funny side and she tells that the 'terrific actor' is also good at making people laugh.
The two have been together for three years after they acted in Danny Boyle's Oscar winning hit 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

Kareena Kapoor has said that Salman Khan is a sweetheart and the lifeline of the Hindi film industry.
The 31-year-old actress, who has worked with all the leading Khans of Bollywood, including her beau Saif Ali Khan and now Imran Khan, chose the 'Dabangg' star, when she was asked who her favourite among the Khans was.
Even at a function held previously, where she had to choose her favorite actor, Kapoor had picked Salman.

"The viewers will get to see the real Bipasha in 'Jodi Breakers'. For the first time in ten years of my career I play a character which is the real Bipasha, like what I am in real life. It is quite refreshing," told Bipasha who was in the city to promote 'Jodi Breakers'.
Bipasha plays the role of Sonali who is very modern and a bohemian girl. Bipasaha and Madhavan are the 'Jodi-Breakers' who help people who want to break their marriages and start a new life.
The movie, directed by Ashwini Chaudhary and all set to release on Febr 24, is a wicked romantic comedy.

Czech Pakistani model Nargis, who was introduced to Bollywood by director Imtiaz Ali as Ranbir Kapoor's love interest in the hit movie "Rockstar", walked the ramp at the final day of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Sunday as the showstopper for designer Sakshee Pradhan. She wore shimmery trousers with a long flowy asymmetrical top.
After the show when Nargis came out for the press conference, she was heard telling, "It freaks me out to see so many people in front of me."
Walking the ramp as a showstopper is a completely different experience, Nargis said, adding that "it is a very different experience."
"Words cannot describe what you feel when you get on to the runway and you transform to something else. With this outfit, I feel like a glamorous diva," she further added.
Pradhan's collection was urban and chic and included outfits like gowns, shorts, shimmery trousers, tunics in nude colours.
The models symbolized urban and free-spirited women when they walked the ramp in her creation along with headphones and spectacles.
