Salman Khan is thankful to the actress for giving a nod and has now decided to payback by gifting her a BMW.
After the UTV Motion Pictures’ senior manager Prithwish Ganguly tweeted “@BeingSalmanKhan to gift Kareena Kapoor a BMW for being a part of Dabangg 2”.

Anurag Basu is very upset about the loss of his movie Barfi’s big surprise element.
Ranbir’s “old man” look is for his upcoming movie Barfi!
Basu confirmed the news, and further added, “I was at the airport when I first caught a glimpse of Ranbir and that too on mute. I was shocked. I thought someone had put Barfi!’s first look out there without my knowledge!”
Basu tells he made some frantic calls, and was told that it was an ad. “I caught the complete ad later and was taken aback with what I saw. Ranbir’s getup in the TV ad is almost identical to that of his old-age look in Barfi!. I was disappointed.”
A source close to the movie added, “Anurag was very angry. He and his producer UTV had taken great pains to keep the look under wraps. But with the ad, the look is out and so is the big surprise.”
When asked if he has had a word with Ranbir about the issue, Anurag told, “Yes I have. But I have also shot several TV?commercials with Ranbir in the past and I know that he sticks to the brief that he is given, without asking any questions. I spoke to him a couple of days back and he simply smiled. When Ranbir smiles usko sab maf hai.”
Basu does not deny being disappointed. But he is in an exceptionally forgiving mood. “What can I say and what can I do? We had really taken a lot of pain to guard his look and keep it under wraps. But I guess it had to happen this way. So it’s fine now.”
Aishwarya is all set to attend the 65th Cannes Film Festival with her five months old daughter!
At the Cannes Film Fest this year, we will not be missing Aishwarya Rai as the lovely actress will make her presence felt, this year too. It is heard that she will most likely take along with her five-month-old daughter. The 65th Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 16 to 27.

Off late, John Abraham has been very passionately talking about sperm donation. The actor is now even prepared to donate his sperm.
John Abraham is very keen on making people aware about the concept of sperm donation and says it’s something very similar to blood donation. The leading man of ‘Vicky Donor’, Ayushmaan Khurrana, has proudly admitted that in real life, he has donated his sperm. Now John will follow too.
John told, “if it happens, it would be for purely altruistic and philanthropic reasons and definitely not for commercial gains.”
Vicky Donor is slated to release on April 20. The movie is directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi.
John Abraham who is the producer of the film tells that fertility clinics have been calling him in order to help contribute to the cause of creating awareness about sperm donation.

“This is a very funny thing. I don’t get bored easily,” Priyanka Chopra said journalists.
The actress was speaking at the launch of Nikon camera’s coolpix range.
“I only get bored when I am ready to shoot and have to wait for the set to be ready, but even then there is something going on with me. Either I am reading scripts or having a meeting. So, getting bored is something that this profession has just not given me,” she further added.

Heard the current news about three-month-old baby Afreen, who was battered by her father in Bangalore
Kajol further added, “I think children are sacred, they are god’s gift and I don’t think anybody has the right to take anybody’s life or to do anything with any baby,” told Kajol, who is a mother of two – daughter Nysa and son Yug.

Salman Khan has been replaced by Saif Ali Khan in Judwaa 2, which will go on floors sometime very soon. The sequel of David Dhawan’s hit comedy Judwaa, released in 1997 will be directed by Sajid Khan.
If buzz is to be believed, Saif has been longing to work in a comedy film from quite sometime now. He had also approached director Sajid Khan to direct movies for his production house, however, due to certain reasons, Sajid declined the offer.
We do not know why Salman Khan has been taken out of the movie.
Currently, Saif Ali Khan is shooting with Deepika Padukone and newbie Diana Penty, for Cocktail.
Judwaa 2 is expected to release by early 2013.

Actor Ajay Devgn envies the sheer commitment with which his co-actor Anil Kapoor works.
"It's great fun to work with Anil Kapoor. The kind of dedication he has for his work I think no other actor in Bollywood would have," Ajay told in a statement.
"He is always involved with his work and only talks about work all the time to a point it becomes boring. But then you start envying him for the dedication he has even after all these years. Anil Kapoor is so dedicated on the sets that you cannot distract him. No wonder he has such great body of work behind him," he further added.
Both the actors will be seen in action thriller "Tezz", which releases April 27. The film also stars Kangna Ranaut, Sameera Reddy, Zayed Khan and Boman Irani.

Veteran Bollywood actor and theatre artist Raghubir Yadav will be seen in the role of a grandfather in "Yeh Khula Aasmaan" and says while shooting, he kept his understanding and encouraging maternal grandpa in mind.
"I play grandfather and my personal experiences helped me to play it better. My character in the film reminded me of my maternal grandfather. He always supported me in whatever I did, just like I support my grandson in the film," the actor said.
Made on a budget of Rs.3 crore, about 90 percent of the movie has been shot in Bhagalpur Bihar , and the rest in Mumbai. It is slated to release May 25.

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit has verified that she will play the lead in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Dedh Ishqiya".
Directed by Abhishek Choubey, "Dedh Ishqiya" is a sequel to 2010 film "Ishqiya", which starred Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.

The Supreme Court Monday stayed criminal proceedings against filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar in a rape charge leveled against him by actress Priti Jain.
While staying the proceedings, an apex court bench of Justice H.L. Dattu and Justice C. K. Prasad issued notice to the Maharashtra government and Jain on Bhandarkar's plea seeking that the case against him be abolished.
Bhandarkar had challenged the Bombay High Court order asking him to face trial in the alleged rape case.
In July 2004, Jain had lodged a complaint alleging that Bhandarkar had raped her several times between 1999 and 2004 under the pretext of marrying her and casting her as actress in his movies.
Even though the Mumbai police in its report had told that the allegations against Bhandarkar were 'maliciously false', the Mumbai metropolitan court in September last year did not accept it and held that there was substance in Jain's complaint, and issued process against Bhandarkar, directing him to face the trial.
The magistrate's court in November last year had granted anticipatory bail to the Bollywood filmmaker.
Bhandarkar had challenged the lower court's order before the high court which too had rejected his plea.
Karan Johar is happy to direct newcomers!
Karan Johar is engaged with his next directorial "Student Of The Year", which is the launch pad for three new actors, and tells it is joyful to work with newcomers.
"The joy of directing newcomers! Their acting innocence can never be replaced...am enjoying playing part director part teacher," Johar wrote on Twitter.
"Student Of The Year" will see Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, making their Bollywood debut.
While Siddharth is a model-turned-actor, Varun is director David Dhawan's son, and Alia is filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's daughter.
The film is a co-production by Johar's Dharma Productions and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.
'The 3 Mistakes of my Life' film gets Gujarati title, says Bhagat!

The first look and the title of Abhishek Kapoor's next film, based on Chetan Bhagat's novel "The 3 Mistakes of my Life", have been finalized. But they are kept under wraps.
"Shall reveal name of the '3 mistakes' movie soon. Hint: it's a Gujarati name," posted Bhagat.
The author is impressed with the movie's first look.
"Saw first look posters for the '3 mistakes' movie. Wow! You shall be proud. But @utvfilms won't let me share them yet. Soon I promise," he further added.
So far, two of Bhagat's books -- "Five Point Someone" and "One Night @ the Call Center
"Hello" was released in 2008 but was not such a big success. But "3 Idiots", which talks about the life of three engineering students, went on to become the biggest hit of 2009.
The rights of his last novel "Revolution 2020" have been bagged by UTV Motion Pictures.
