Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has come out in defense of his
co-star Priyanka Chopra! The two actors have been working on Aditya Chopra’s
Gunday and the last weeks have been abuzz with rumors of Priyanka Chopra’s
unprofessional behavior on the sets.
Laying these rumors to rest, Arjun Kapoor explained,
“Nothing like that ever happened with Priyanka. Honestly, I don’t even know
what I should say for such matters. She has been a star for so many years and
no tantrums have ever come into picture. She is too big to be indulging in such
behaviour.”
Buzz was that, Priyanka threw her weight around her co-stars
Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Kapoor saying, she was much experienced.
A source has disclosed that nothing as such actually
happened on the sets and that, Priyanka is a dignified actress. Well, we could surely
agree on that! She wouldn’t have got this far, had she been throwing tantrums.
While Arjun was quick to give his bits to the media, co-star Ranveer was
unavailable for comments.
Remembering his old days as an assistant director, Arjun
Kapoor told, “I actually know her from even before the time when I had started
off as an actor. I was an assistant on Salaam-e-Ishq and used to call her by
saying – Madam, shot ready hai. Till date I tell her that Madam aap aaiye naa.
The only difference is that earlier only she was in front of the camera and
today both of us are. I am very fond of her and love her as an actor. She has
not changed at all and that is the hallmark of a true star and an actor.”
Well, we could certainly agree on that because, one cannot maybe
be a star by throwing tantrums!
