We all know how pious and superstitious Ekta Kapoor is.
Whether it’s her fondness for letter ‘K’ or the rituals she follows to avert
mishaps that can affect her projects or changing titles of her movies due to
numerological reasons, Ekta has time and again proved that she is
superstitious. If sources close to the TV Czarina are to be believed, she has
just crossed the line.
Last month, there were news that the sets of her popular
Star Plus show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, located at Click Nixon at Saki Naka is
haunted. The show’s leading lady Divyanka Tripathi admitted that the show’s
producer, Shobha Kapoor keeps organizing poojas on location to ward off the
evil spirits. Considering that, the newest we hear is that Ekta has now decided
to cast actors of her television soaps not on the basis of their merit but
inspecting their horoscope or we say, kundlis. Yes, you read it right! A source
close to the production house suggest, “After Yeh Hai Mohabbatein incident,
Ekta has become very cautious and doesn’t want to take any chance.”
Besides visiting Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak temple every
Tuesday, Ekta is also spotted frequently at a famous coffee outlet near the
temple feeding chaara to cows.
