The grand premiere of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil was a splendid
affair and several celebrated names were present to bless the two young
debutants, Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth. While the entire Kapoor khandaan
including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Rishi Kapoor, Ritu Nanda, Randhir Kapoor
and Rajiv Kapoor were present, hordes of other B-towners like superstar Shah
Rukh Khan, Rakesh Roshan, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Ayan Mukherji, Yami Gautam
made their presence felt at the starry night.
But what most failed to witness besides the shiny starry
night was the moment when Rekha and Jaya Bachchan came face to face. It’s
learnt that Abhishek Bachchan accompanied his mother Jaya Bachchan at the
premiere but observers were quite puzzled watching the two veterans not
acknowledging each other’s presence. Rekha and Jaya didn’t greet each other.
At an award ceremony beginning this year, onlookers were
quite surprised to see Amitabh Bachchan greeting Rekha. At the same event,
Rekha and Jaya were also spotted exchanging pleasantries. Considering that one
couldn’t stop wondering as to why they didn’t exchange a hi at the grand
premiere of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil.
